R&D Celebrates The Food Bank of New York
Rebecca & Drew participated in Meatpacking Uncorked last weekend, the sold out event organized by the MPDI during the New York City Wine & Food Festival. Fashion boutiques, furniture and design stores, and restaurants all over the neighborhood were open late to serve various wines and food to the throngs of visitors. R&D hosted Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars, which poured two of their award-winning white wines during the evening. The store was filled with a steady stream of supporters, whose donations benefited The Food Bank of New York.

Meatpacking Uncorked at Rebecca & Drew
Join Rebecca & Drew, and over 40 other venues throughout New York’s Meatpacking District, in participating in this year’s “Meatpacking Uncorked” on Friday, October 9, from 6:00-9:00PM. 100% of net ticket sales from the event, in conjunction with the New York City Wine & Food Festival, benefit the Food Bank of New York. Ladies Got Fitted For Fall!
It was quite a week! Rebecca & Drew hosted celebrity stylist Amy Salinger, who has appeared or worked on Oprah, What Not to Wear, The Today Show, and HGTV’s Hidden Potential, to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out in New York. With hundreds of events happening simultaneously around NYC and throughout the world, we didn’t want to miss out on the action! Attendees were given expert advice and valuable shopping tips from Amy, sampled wonderful jewelry from PONO, and drank glasses of bubbly (from us). We would like to thank Amy and all those who attended—especially the women who donated their ill-fitting shirts to NYC AIDS Fund for a discount on R&D’s perfect fit.

Get a shirt - Give a shirt
Rebecca & Drew and PONO jewelry hosted a fun and successful afternoon of shopping for the supporters of Goods for Good, an organization which matches excess goods from the United States with the needs of vulnerable children in the developing world. This event benefitted orphans in Malawi, who without parents to provide for them, drop out of school as they lack proper clothing and materials. For every purchase during the event, R&D and PONO provided for over thirty school uniforms for the children. We would love to thank Lee and Melissa Kushner and everyone who showed and gave their support for Goods for Good!!
